I am from a wild little mountain town where winter is snowy and stars are bright against the black sky. I'm not sure if it was the icy air or the song of the stars that urged me into Orange County to study fine art. But I suspect the stars because there seemed to be a lot more holding me in California than simply the avoidance of weather. Maybe that's because the more that I sketched and painted, the more I learned to notice. And the more I noticed, the more I fell in love with life. The funny thing about a camera is that it always notices. It winks at something and time stops to admire its subject. I'll never forget the first time I realized how much romance and style, how much story and magic could be woven into a simple photograph. I'll never forget because my life whirled around to accommodate this new contraption and I became a photographer. Now, my camera and I wander around looking for adventure. We search for a sparkling tale of true love to tell. We long for an enchanted evening to immortalize forever. Now, thanks to my training, experience, and friends at TripleCord, I have the privilege to devote my life to telling the story of love and weddings, and of everything in life worth noticing.
